India calls on all its citizens to leave Pakistan immediately
The government has issued a travel advisory for all Indian nationals in Pakistan, urging them to return to India at the earliest opportunity.

New Delhi: Following the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, the Government of India issued a travel advisory on Thursday for all Indian nationals residing in Pakistan.
All Indians have been advised to return immediately.
Govt Urges Indians To ‘Avoid’ Travelling To Pakistan
The government has also advised Indian nationals to refrain from traveling to Pakistan.
“Indian nationals are strongly advised to avoid travelling to Pakistan. Those Indian nationals currently in Pakistan are also advised to return to India at the earliest,” the MEA said.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) issued the advisory following the Cabinet Committee on Security’s (CCS) launch of a diplomatic offensive against Pakistan, in response to the attack that claimed 26 lives, including that of a foreign national, and left several others injured.
Earlier in the day, the government announced the suspension of visa services for Pakistani nationals. All existing Indian visas granted to Pakistani citizens will be cancelled effective April 27, 2025.
Previously issued medical visas will remain valid only until April 29, 2025. Pakistani nationals currently residing in India are required to depart before the expiration of their visas, as per the newly issued regulations.
The advisory issued on the MEA website further stated, “In continuation of the decisions made by the Cabinet Committee on Security in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack, the Government of India has decided to suspend visa services to Pakistani nationals with immediate effect.”
